The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence Foundation The CCME Foundation works to improve the health of individuals and communities.They provide charitable grants to nonprofit organizations to build upon or undertake new projects that improve access to health care and health-related services for their neighbors in the Carolinas. Funding is prioritized on a project’s potential to impact the community using measurable outcomes. They welcome all eligible applicants, especially community-based organizations in earlier stages of development. Since its founding, the CCME Foundation has provided support for healthy lifestyle and quality of life programs, access to culturally and linguistically appropriate care, health-related educational outreach, consumer-centered care and decision-making, and patient safety programs.
