How can SCGMN assist my organization?

We are, first and foremost, a network of foundations, so the first way we can help is to connect you to your grantmaking peers in the state. We can help you find funders with shared interests, connect you to staff or board members who have a particular expertise or knowledge in a community – and we’re always available to talk shop.

What are the requirements for becoming a member?

Membership in SCGMN is limited to grantmaking organizations that award charitable grants in South Carolina. Typically, these are private, community, or family foundations, or corporate giving programs. If you think your organization might be eligible for membership, please feel free to contact us.

Will SCGMN help me find grant dollars for my nonprofit?

We do not connect nonprofits to grantmakers and cannot make suggestions of foundations that might fund your organization.

Can I attend SCGMN's Quarterly Meetings or other events?

The SCGMN quarterly meetings are open to member and non-member grantmaking organizations. Most other SCGMN events are open only to current members. However, if you represent a grantmaking organization that funds in South Carolina, please feel free to contact us to see if you are eligible for membership or to attend a meeting as a guest.
