Hartsville, SC – The Byerly Foundation has launched a new web site aimed at making communication within the Hartsville community and with Foundation grantees even easier and more productive. The new site is http://www.byerlyfoundation.com/

The new site, which was designed by Beam and Hinge of Columbia, makes use of WordPress.com technology. One of the major new features of the site is the Foundation blog, which will cover activities within the Foundation, the Hartsville community and the non-profit industry.  Visitors will find recent blogs on what it means for the Foundation to be a catalyst in the Hartsville community and some insights on the history of The Foundation. There are several grants featured in special sections on main pages and there are links that give further information on the scope of those grants.

“We are excited to unveil this new site because we think it reflects some of the excitement that The Foundation feels for the many things happening around the Hartsville area,” said Richard Puffer, executive director.  He added that he hopes visitors will find the site easy to navigate and containing the information they were hoping to find.
