SPARTANBURG –The Spartanburg County Foundation is pleased to announce that Roysean Philson has joined the Foundation as Donor Services Administrative Assistant. Roysean serves as the first point of contact for the Foundation and provides general administrative support and assistance.

Philson brings valuable experience in the areas of customer service and administration. He recently worked as Administrative Assistant for the Multicultural Student Programs and Services Center at the College of Charleston where he assisted in managing daily operations, programs, and events.

Roysean received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Charleston. He was very active in student affairs and volunteered as a student ambassador. Philson also worked as an intern under U.S. Representative James E. Clyburn in Washington, D.C. and studied abroad in Trujillo, Spain.

Roysean began his tenure at The Spartanburg County Foundation April 25, 2016.
